Be The Light: Our First Pin for the Next Level Laser Conference

This month, we’re headed to our very first Next Level Laser conference—and we couldn’t be more excited. From what we’ve heard, one of the best parts of the event isn’t just the classes or the machines, but the tradition of pin trading. It’s a way attendees connect, make new friends, and take home a little memory of the experience.

We knew right away we wanted to be part of that tradition. And because I love Christmas, I designed our very first conference pin as a Christmas light—bright, cheerful, and full of meaning.

Why a Christmas Light?

Christmas lights have always been special to me. A single bulb doesn’t seem like much, but in the dark, it shines. Put a string of them together and suddenly you have warmth, color, and joy. That’s what I wanted our pin to capture: the reminder that each of us has the power to bring light into the lives of others.

Masonic Meaning in the Design

As Masonic Family Gifts, it was important for us to go deeper than just a fun design. Light has always been central to Masonic teachings—it represents truth, knowledge, and the journey from darkness to understanding. By wearing these pins, we’re not only celebrating the tradition of the conference but also sharing a piece of what Masonry means to us.

  • The Light itself reminds us of the guidance and wisdom we seek.

  • The Glow symbolizes how our kindness and service ripple outward.

  • The Festive Design is my personal nod to Christmas and the joy it brings.

Joining the Tradition

We’ve made 200 pins to share at the conference. Each one is a small keepsake, but more importantly, a chance to start a conversation, meet a fellow maker, and be part of a bigger community.

It feels fitting that our first step into this tradition begins with the words: Be the Light. Whether in Masonry, in family, in business, or at a conference full of creative people—we’re all here to shine a little brighter together.
